Under the influence of a Western painter’s mother, he started his career as a painter. At the age of 21, he moved to Kyoto because he wanted to be independent of his parents’ house and continued to paint oil. At first, I painted only casual scenes of Kyoto. I was shocked to see Moso bamboo when I was 24 years old. The appearance of the bamboo that happens to match the appearance of the bamboo grove at that time coincides with my feelings, and the appearance of the bamboo that grows straight is my own appearance. He continues to draw bamboo in possession of Western paintings.
