A bamboo painter, Kazuyo Yasyama’s masterpiece “Bamboo Forest” (fusuma picture) was exhibited at the Tokyo National Museum (Ueno Park, Tokyo). It was a part of the event “International Student Day” in the same building, which introduces Japanese culture to international students. The works of current painters are rarely exhibited in the oldest and highest museum in the country, which holds national treasures and heavy sentences.
“I hope that you can feel the energy of Mr. Yatsuyama, who has experience studying abroad abroad and is active in the world, and grow straight like a bamboo,” said the same building headquarters. In front of Mr. Yatsuyama’s work, the a cappella concert of “Quarterto Sakura” was held twice

孟宗竹は地下茎で結びついている。その姿はまるで人間のようだ。両親から子供が生まれ、祖父、祖母、親戚、友人、みんな地下茎でつながっている。竹林は人間社会を表わしている。竹の幹が人間の外見。地下茎、根っこが人間の内面。 「私は竹、竹は私」 。竹林の奥はうっそうとして暗い。私の作品はあえて明るくしている。自分の道を真直ぐ進むときっと先は明るいという意味を込めて
